Required: Hosted Landing Page

Your website's URL: http://

In the above field, you need to create a URL with a subdomain for your LaunchRock page (e.g., signup.yoursite.com not yoursite.com). "www" and several other CNAME records are not allowed [ learn more ].

This way when you build something on yoursite.com, you will still capture all the sign-ups and referrals obtained through your LaunchRock page.

Create a CNAME Record

Create a CNAME record for the domain you specified and point it to sites.launchrock.com.

What is a CNAME record?
A CNAME record is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS) that's stored by your DNS host. With LaunchRock, you'll need to create a CNAME record to use your domain for a LaunchRock hosted page. Alternatively, if you would prefer to host the page on your servers, you can use the embeddable widget option which you can select above. (The widget option requires familiarity with HTML and CSS.)

Here are general instructions for creating your CNAME record.

Check CNAME
Please note that it can take up to 72 hours for CNAME records to propagate even after they are setup correctly.

Please launch your site or visit support at http://support.launchrock.com.

Optional: Redirect Your Base Domain

We suggest that you redirect your base domain (e.g., yoursite.com) to your LaunchRock page. This way you can tell people to sign up at yoursite.com, and they will be redirected to the signup page.

If you are already building your website and/or know how to create a JavaScript redirect, you can do this on your own.

Setting Your A Record

Change the A record for your base domain to 50.17.236.4
